Into the -ber months

I think I got too excited.

We are now just in the last half of the -ber months and I'm practically done with Christmas shopping (the other gifts are still a work in progress).. Truth to tell I'm done with the wrapping of these presents too.. and I saved a few pesos while I was at it!

Here are some tips to get your shopping done early and save a little money :)

1. Keep your old gift list handy (upload it to google docs spreadsheet if you want).
   
2. Starting saving as early as August for Christmas shopping money.
3. Take advantage of the mid-year and the last quarter sale in the malls/ shops.
   
4. Shop early in places like 168 and Divi mall (or where you can get great deals for piece/ bulk purchases) before an increase in prices and human traffic happen.
5. To save on wrapping paper, I used old (3year old) magazines and craft paper as my wrapping paper of choice.

Now those gifts, I've done wrapping, are now residing in my closet til december :)
